Salam sejahtera,
Sebagai
langkah persediaan awal menghadapi kemungkinan banjir besar tahun ini,
pihak Majlis Keselamatan
MARES
telah dijemput membantu MKN (Putrajaya) sementara beberapa persatuan
Radio Amatur lain dijemput membantu MKN negeri-negeri. Untuk
meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan, kesepakatan dan kesefahaman antara
sukarelawan radio amatur yang bakal terlibat membantu pihak kerajaan
nanti, MARES akan menganjurkan latihan Malaysian Simulated Emergency
Test (MySET). Perkara ini adalah penting demi menjaga
nama baik warga
radio amatur.
Bersama ini disertakan brosur
berkenaan latihan tersebut. Kami mengalu-alukan penyertaan semua warga
radio amatur. TIADA
SEBARANG BAYARAN DIKENAKAN. Kami akan emailkan
maklumat lanjut tentang program ini selepas mendapat email penyertaan
tuan/puan.
Sekian, terima kasih. 9W2STT Emergency

QST, to all Radio Amateurs 15
October 2011
World-wide HF operators are kindly
requested to QSY away from 7.060-7.063
MHz at all times due to use by
Thailand hams during the massive flood emergency affecting
millions of people in North and Central Thailand.
Today,
the emergency is on-going with huge areas flooded of from a half to two
meters of water, some areas are deeper and a few spotty areas are
mostly dry in the region. News estimates say that the flooding will
continue for four to six more days, at its height, and subsidence will
be over a month. Clean-up and rebuilding may extend more than a year.
